Intentional days create a life on purpose
Year Of Focus: Week 44
Word Of The Week: Intentionality
an attitude of purposefulness, with a commitment to deliberate action:
I have always been a planner. With the best of intentions, I set my goals and plan my days. But often when uncovering the balance for work, play and everything in-between, my goals fall away. Soon, I return to the comfort of routine, allowing the days and weeks to pass, with my intentions no longer aligning with my actions.
Making change requires not only intentionality but the will and motivation to step out of our comfort zone to do things differently, especially when difficult. This will help to create a new pattern or routine one habit or challenge at a time.
The end of the year is my favorite time to review the plans I followed this year and uncover what intentions held and what I need to revisit. Life and circumstances are constantly changing the direction of our goals, and our job is to push through the resistance of comfort to reach new areas of development.
