Kindness - noun

1. the state or quality of being kind

If kindness is a choice, why on some days is it so hard to choose? When I think about the times when someone interrupts my schedule for what they need, do I respond with kindness? Or when kindness does not feel deserved or allow us to prove a point, do we still choose it? Perhaps this week, I could represent kindness in a way I have not before.

Being kind is easy when it is reciprocated, but when anger is growling, or ego is offended; kindness becomes a difficult response. How can I switch the negative response into a new standard of kindness? 

During my season of pay it forward, kindness is a gift I love to share. It represents the sweet, kind boy that Ryan was. However, there are times when the kindness does not land right, or the response was not what I had hoped. This week is an opportunity to see how kindness holds up throughout the other aspects of life? 

This week I will focus on kindness, even when it is difficult to choose.
