Word of the Week: Illuminate 

to supply or brighten with light; light up.

To illuminate something makes me think of a light bulb, in fact I often draw a light bulb when I am working in my planner for ideas. But to live a life that illuminates, we are making clear with our actions who we are and how we want to show up. 

To shine feels more about our accolades and accomplishments. But for me, to illuminate means to inspire, enlighten, and light the path to life with a positive environment. It is a way to inspire or enlighten, not a way to influence, but instead to use your gifts to illuminate the world.

I am always on a mission to learn something new. A search for information and understanding in many things that can illuminate our lives. I want to use this information to  illuminate those things others may not notice.
