In the first half of 2024 during my life's journey for healthy living and weight loss. I have discovered things that have moved the needle, and others that have not externally, but have made a difference inside. Movement has always been a big part of my life, especially since quitting smoking over twenty years ago.There was always something missing on the days I did not find movement.
This year I have tried a months of running, hiking, yoga, walking and strength training. I spent 75 days doing (2) – 45-minute work outs, one always being yoga. In that time, I noticed a significant change in my cardio capacity, heart rate and other positive aspects because of this increased movement. Even the health trends on my phone are noticing!
We need both movement and stillness as the quote says. I know after such a busy June, I was looking forward to the quiet of July...
