Gratitude: Week 50 (June 4 - June 10)
A journey of transformation has drifted by like a summer breeze as I approach my goal of documenting 52-weeks of gratitude. Commencing at my fifty-second birthday and gliding to my 53rd as the sands of time slip away leaving gratitude in their path.
So much possibility in the span of a year, this challenge has altered my life in astonishing ways as I view my world with a new perspective and consistently choose to notice the brighter moments.
Looking back to the beginning of this adventure, I notice how the shift arrived slowly, at first, penning affirmations of gratitude was tangled and stiff, but eventually, gathering these details captivated my soul and by following through each day revealed my gratitude.
The guidance towards gratitude does not appear initially or arrive at the finish, but instead, it is during the in between, amid uncertainty and suspicion and slow days of waiting, suddenly, in that tiny place where compassion or empathy are born gratitude is ready to be seen.

Gratitude helps your attitude, writing down each day the wonder in your life, the blessings, tiny details which slowly strip away the negative and highlights the positive, shifting the momentum of your journey.
