"Peace is a journey of a thousand miles and it must be taken one step at a time." ~Lyndon B. Johnson
Week Eighteen (October 23 - 29)
On the return from our trip, the cold damp air delivered a string of heady anticipation as I readied to begin again. Inspired by the tenderness of coming home, where old favorites are transformed and opportunities awaken, I was enlivened with appreciation and refreshed by the joy I experienced, a new beginning where a shift occurs and I am transformed.
Finally recognizing that change is not rushed by a quick fix, but instead, a process of growth and practice from the experiences that seep into my soul as the routine of life is interrupted, stimulating development and providing the looking glass of the future through the awareness of my past.
What is the hurry for change, why did I seek an immediate remedy? The process of transformation eliminates what no longer serves me to allow in the new. That has become my journey of discovery, where influence arrives with every season as I follow the path that serves me best, each decision governing a better one.
An intermission from life clears the fog from my mind providing opportunity with new alternatives. Often a nudge of change can steer revelation in a new direction, releasing my grip from the previous patterns and allowing faith to illuminate my path reminding me of the abundance of gratitude present in my life.

Week Eighteen - The weather
The seasons of weather are like the seasons of our lives, each delivering its own beauty and transformation. How I love the flavor of fall, I just wished it would last longer.
