Gratitude helps us see what is there instead of what isn't
Being Me: Week 45 (Count your rainbows not your thunderstorms)
November theme: Small seeds of gratitude will provide a harvest of hope
Why is it so hard for most of us to view our lives with the glass half full instead of half empty? Is it our past circumstances that dictate our future thoughts, or are we prone to being negative positive regardless of our life lessons?
I have discovered the uplifting truth of giving to others to brighten your day. A simple act of kindness, conversation or compliment, can shake away a storm in your heart. It is always more fulfilling to give.
Counting your blessings is another form of gratitude. It is often uplifting to see what we have instead of what is lacking. From a roof over our heads to the air that we breath, there will always be blessings when we choose to look for them.
A daily gratitude practice has the power to shift our hearts and minds by writing as few as 3 things each day that you are grateful for.
Themes for each month to journal, create or contemplate on your journey
Mission Statement: I will improve my overall health and wellness, use kindness and inspiration with a vision that creates a community of giving and in doing so achieve my purpose in this life.
