I picked up the grateful kit from stampin up...
I purchased two kits from Rose, a dear friend who sells stampin up

I decided to work on one of the kits a head of time to see how difficult it would be so when I had a day with Debbie, we could work on hers together.
getting the supplies together and coming up with a system to assemble was my first step
It was such an enjoyable afternoon...

I did it! I found a quiet place in the library to get lost!
It was wonderful, something I needed today and I can't help but wonder why I haven't thought of it before? Enveloped by the very thing that I love.... BOOKS. Publications of all shapes and sizes, fiction and non, information overload and yet so tranquil!
There are no noises in the library, in fact you almost feel as if you are alone except...

Grief has a funny way of doing that...four months have gone by while we have been going through the motions of life. Going about our days and filling the void in our lives with busyness. You and I were always sure to call one another every couple days, keeping in touch and sharing a laugh, I miss those talks...

Things we should practice daily, not making excuses for where we are in life. Dealing with  a few people recently reminded me of this. I sometimes wonder, what happened to people taking responsibility for their actions? Here are a few life lessons to lead you to enlightenment.

Sometimes I can't understand this life and what we go through.  I had spent the morning thinking about my brother Joe, on August 23rd it was 11 years since his aneurysm burst. He died 25 days later in surgery, but sometimes the injustice of that and other wounds in life throw me off track.
I read the quotes, live the positive life and find the undeniable truth all around me, but sometimes after...

Over one year ago Debbie went through brain surgery to remove a tennis ball size tumor, I know that part alone of this story should have us inspired. The medical abilities of today compared to 20 years ago are monumental, and they saved her. While there have been many miracles along the way, the path is still a daily crusade, with a long way to go.
