52 Weeks of gratitude: Week 14

I am on a quest of new beginnings, to uncover possibility, engage in promise, and explore God and my relationship with Him. This awareness caused a shift, lifting the veil of hooded doubt, revealing how I need Him, and how He welcomes me at this point in my journey.

No judgment with my hesitant faith throughout the years. Forgiveness in the places I may have stumbled, wavering in allegiance. What matters is that I am here now, walking towards Him, on this path. Discovering the peace that comes with knowing God in my heart.

And what shakes me now is how he allowed me to take my time, arriving when I was ready. Providing space for the grief that broke me. Listening to my blame for unanswered prayers while I examined all his ways. Patiently He waited for me to look up.

I am early on this path, shedding light in the areas grown over. Stepping cautiously to expose his words to my heart, noticing these gifts, even through tragedy and realizing He was by my side all along.
