This summer is going to be filled with traveling! We started off with our Hocking Hills trip last weekend and then we were off to Wisconsin with a stop in Chicago, one of my favorite cities! Which was on our way to take Chelsea to camp.

We rode the giant ferris wheel, I even talked my mom into it!

and conquered another fear... or faced another challenge, and...

I spent the last few weeks doing a lot of over indulging and I'm paying for it now! With Chelsea heading off to Wisconsin we visited some of our favorite spots before she left. As well as Memorial weekend away with family where we did indulge in some more eating and drinking.
But I'm not going to beat myself up for it, in fact it has sparked me to get serious with my training for the Chicago marathon....

Chelsea and Ben went zip lining last year and had so much fun. Their talk and enthusiasm about the day made me add it to my bucket list.

We've been crazy busy around here and have so many plans for our summer! Zach is finishing up school this week and Chelsea is heading out to Wisconsin! The Jersey boys will be back just in time for my birthday, my cousin and aunt are coming in from California for a girls week, including a trip to Cook forest, our family vacation and hopefully a trip out to California!

Recently my mother in law turned 70 and we had to celebrate! With help from Joel's cousin we plotted our plan! She would have it at her house and invite her to her party by saying its for a friend. We got everyone there, even the weather cooperated with the sun warming up the day!

Even my brother in law came up from Florida, which was a treat for us all!

I told my husband about my going back to school desires and he supports anything I want to do! I told him about taking the placement test, but when I came home with this he said
"well now it's official"

I'm so excited, I finally did it, I went back to school to take my English placement test. So many things inspired me; my love for writing, my love for photography (two of the classes I want to pursue). But...

A year has passed and I ran the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon for a second time. The route was changed a bit because of the construction going on downtown and I wondered if I would be able to PR? After all I've been doing this for over a year now???
I was concerned about the weather all week long. What would it be like to run in constant rain, since that's all the forecast was calling for? I pictured...

This year was Zach's first year to Prom.  He had several friends over the house before prom to get ready and I was able to capture some of my favorite pictures.
 
Macee is so sweet and adorable and has the most gorgeous eyes
