It was the perfect way to start our day! We knew we had to get up early so we did a slumber party the night before with the grandmas and then we were all here and getting ready for our surprise.
We headed downtown by 7:15 and arrived at the zoo by 8:00 to be taken into the rainforest where breakfast would be served buffet style.

Zach is going on 17 and ready to get his driver's license. He isn't a big fan of driving my car and preferred to drive dad's truck but that option didn't give him a lot of driving time. So when Joel came across this vehicle we knew it was perfect for him.

we still have to go for the official license but that's okay, it just gives me more time to get used to him driving now!

What a crazy week I have had... with Lady Gaga on Wednesday and Jon Stewart on Saturday, such extreme opposites and so much fun!
Jon Stewart was amazing!  We all loved him!  I could hear Zach laughing the entire time!
We got there an hour early since during the week someone said what time is Jon Stewart 7pm and instead of checking the tickets I just said yes... here it was 7:30.  So we arrived,...

This month I got the kit a little earlier than usual and had a long weekend to play when my husband and son went to Florida shark fishing for a few days.

Chelsea and I recently went to her concert and what a great time we had!  First our evening started at the Hard Rock Cafe where we decided to try a couple new drinks.  Mine....Pickled Tink was our favorite, as in favorite drink EVER!
So much so that when we finally got our table for dinner we decided to order a couple more!
At dinner and on our way back we ran in to some interesting characters!

I had really hoped with Easter being so late in the year we would have a beautiful spring day, but it seems all we've been getting for the month of April is rain! But that didn't dampen our day celebrating with family.

We changed things up a bit this year as we try to do every year and made the Easter games a little different. This year we did the egg hunt like we do the dice game at Christmas...
