I had really hoped with Easter being so late in the year we would have a beautiful spring day, but it seems all we've been getting for the month of April is rain! But that didn't dampen our day celebrating with family.
We changed things up a bit this year as we try to do every year and made the Easter games a little different. This year we did the egg hunt like we do the dice game at Christmas and the kids had to roll a dice till all the eggs were gone, then we set a timer and they rolled to steal eggs from one another. Included in those eggs were 3 golden eggs.
I think the adults had as much fun watching as the kids had playing
this is one of my favorites as Zach dives across the counter to steal back his golden egg!
They had a blast doing this, down to the last second when Cameron got a golden egg from Chelsea right as the timer went off!
With high school and college students we knew what they needed most was money, we just had to find a creative way to give it to them. That's where my brother in law came up with wrapping the $5's around suckers. So that's what Deb did and they came out adorable!
It's too bad Ben had to work as he would have completed this scale of heights perfectly!
