Mother's day

The mom's and I got an exciting treat this year!  

Breakfast at the zoo

It was the perfect way to start our day! We knew we had to get up early so we did a slumber party the night before with the grandmas and then we were all here and getting ready for our surprise.

We headed downtown by 7:15 and arrived at the zoo by 8:00 to be taken into the rainforest where breakfast would be served buffet style.

It was a surprise for me and both the grandma's and after breakfast we got to finish going through the rain forest which wasn't open yet to the public and then head into the zoo.

Joel and the kids  thought of everything! Balloons and flowers for me and all the grandmas, the most adorable pandora elephant for my bracelet, a summer shirt and scarf!

and this amazing dark chocolate goodness

and the weather was picture perfect!
