I love reading and try and find as much time as I can to fit it in.  Sometimes I'll even read several books at the same time, depending on their type.
Recently I picked up A million miles in a thousand years by Donald Miller and was hooked from the first page!  There were so many life lessons throughout this book that I had to go back through and highlight some of my favorites.

Last night I got back to my stamp club meeting.  I missed Monday night with all the running I had to do with the kids.  Tuesday nights group is a lot smaller and that can be nice when doing several projects.

Saturday I had the pleasure of spending my day at Mount Union with 80 of Chelsea's sorority sisters and their mothers to celebrate mom's day.
When I first got the invitation I quickly emailed and asked if I could bring some favors for everyone and then found out the count.  I decided the easiest and economical thing to make was chocolate covered popcorn.
 
So began the assembly line with popping...

the 7-day detox as recommended by the nutritionist Chelsea and I met with a week ago Friday.
And let me just say it was quite a change to my diet and made me pay attention to things that I ate, sometimes out of pure habit, kinda like smoking used to be!
We met with Josh last week Friday mostly for Chelsea, or so I thought... see she is quite involved in her health and taking care of her body, and...

I really enjoyed getting out the spring/Easter stuff this year!  As much as I really don't mind our winters, this one seemed especially long!

I survived 48 hours with no internet and television!  It was a challenge that I was up for since sometimes I think they can both take up way too much time in our lives!  I'm going to continue on my path of one day no internet/television because it really forces me to get things done, some of those things that I may have been avoiding.
But at the same time... thank goodness for a DVR, cuz while I...

I got to spend the whole day Saturday with friends scrapbooking and working on some old projects and just having fun and being silly.
I learned something too, I learned that Barry Cowsill and his family was the inspiration for the Partridge Family!  As we shared stories of our younger days and those crushes we all had...
In between all the fun and laughter I did some creating and used some old projects...

Had an amazingly wonderful and fun week with Chelsea home!We went to so many lunches and dinners I'm not sure if I can recall them all...
