Yesterday my sister and I made a trip to Michigan to visit our friends there.  We had a great day, we always do when with our friends.  But this day was bittersweet too.
Before making our way into Debbie's store we stopped off at Scraptales to pick up a few necessities... ha ha
After we left there we headed over to Debbie's store to meet up with her and Brenda.
We had lunch at Carl and...

I have been doing a lot of playing these last few weeks with anything and everything Halloween!
Between working on the house decorations, I've also been playing with some crafts that I'm really having a blast with. I still need to pick up some gourds and small pumpkins for some finishing touches and Joel usually picks up corn stalks for me to decorate the porch.

As for the crafts... here are...

A trip to the hospital was how we spent our Sunday after Zach was helping a friend haul wood and had something blow into his eye.  They numbed his eye, washed it out and even after going to bed early his eye still hurt this morning.

So I've been in the Halloween mood for crafting and decorating my house!  Here are just a few of the things I'm working on...
This is Frank, who I'm taking to the crop with me today.  He was made from a coffee can that I painted green and created his face with puff paints.  I then filled the inside with floral foam and added the suckers, stuffing the paper fillings in randomly.  And if you've...

Like this picture of the birds I took at the cemetery yesterday.  It reminds me of how fleeting life is, how quickly things change in the blink of an eye.
The thought of my family and how much has changed...
losing my son; I can't even imagine what it would be like to have a 21 year old, and that's how old he would be.  How different our lives would be, I can only wonder...
    My father, my...

I Wish I Could See You One More Time
    Come Walking Through My Door
But, I Know That Is Impossible
I Will Hear Your Voice No More
I Know You Can Feel My Tears
And You Don’t Want Me To Cry
    Yet, My Heart Is Broken
    Because I Can’t Understand Why
Someone So Precious Had To Die
I Pray That God Will Give Me Strength
    And Somehow Get Me Through
As I Struggle With This Heartache
    That Was Caused...
