    a new normal???
It's Monday again and school has officially began for Chelsea. Zach's summer days are numbered, his first day of school is on Wednesday and I guess then I will begin looking for that new normal in my life.
Still no computer? Hopefully within a week or so I will have that back.
This weekend is the Patriot Bowl at Cleveland Browns stadium. Then Chelsea can come home for Sunday and...

So today we made plans to go out to breakfast with Ben and Chelsea, Joel, Zach, Lisa, Rich and Rose. We met in Kent at 9am and enjoyed breakfast and hearing of their stories during the time they've been adjusting to their new surroundings.
After breakfast we headed back over to the dorms - we wanted to check out Ben's dorm which he decorated so well with maps all over it. We also brought the kids...

Still having problems with my computer and its so frustrating! It works for a little while and then errors out again. So needless to say I"m going to be without a PC for a while once I run it back out to the tech guy again!
Chelsea seems like she's adjusting well to college life and finding her way around and band camp ended yesterday and she just has a performance today and then she is done and spends...

Well my computer is still acting up, but hopefully before it shuts down again I can get this posted.
Chelsea was asking me when I was going to post the pictures from their performance on Wednesday night, yet before I could I had to get my computer fixed.  So I spent my evening over the computer tech's house and we thought we had the problem figured out.  Came home and hooked the computer back up...

and I'm officially trying to figure out this Mac?
I have to take my PC to our computer guy tonight and hopefully he can fix it while I wait
We went last night to Chelsea's performance. It was all the Kent High Schools performing for awards and then the Kent State band performing for entertainment. They did really good and even with the short time they've been practicing you could tell the difference...

It seems lately I go from nothing to everything at once that needs to be done.  Or maybe its just I put things off until they HAVE to be done.  Either way there's a lot on my plate right now!
For starters I got my gorgeous Work in Progress kit to play with and when I saw there was a mini book with the project kit, I knew I had to get it.   So I've been working with that mini book on a project...

Have been my emotions this past few days.  Today or should I say tonight was an up day.  We finally got connected with Chelsea on the iChat, and once we hung up Joel said it was worth every penny and I couldn't remove the smile from my face.

First it was just Chel in her dorm and then she called Ben to come down.  Then we hooked up with Rich and Rose.
A fun night of laughter as Chelsea...

Recently when cleaning out the closet in the Den we came across some old VHS movies.  They were buried in the back and we hadn't watched them in forever!  While our video player is on its last leg, I thought it best to have these videos made into DVD's.
Just over a week later they called me and I picked them up.  At the time when I took them in I hadn't even asked the cost or thought to drop off...

Zach doesn't seem to remember when his cousin had his skateboarding injury and ended up with 8 pins and a plate in his leg along with not being able to participate in the track season.
Or how long he was in a cast and had to be pushed around in a wheel chair
Because if he had remembered he wouldn't of thought skateboarding down a giant hill would have been a good idea.
    Not too mention if your...

It's been a day of tears and laughter, sadness and pride!
So many emotions you go through when dropping your child off at college.  The house was quiet, Zach over his friends and Joel still at the office. Leaving me alone with my thoughts.  Our whole routine around here will be different.  My gosh, just typing this my eyes well up!

We had a beautiful day with both her grandma's, Ben, Joel,...
