We've had these plans for months and yet it just didn't seem to work out for us.  It was going to be the Florida crew all camping for the weekend, it was going to be a blast.
But then these storms just kept coming and coming and the forecast was for MORE STORMS and we decided it just wasn't worth being cooped up in the trailer for the weekend during all these storms.  Luckily they let us move our...

Yep, its my birthday... the official one and so far my arms seem to be a bit lighter of poison ivy.  And my eye isn't swollen shut from the poison ivy
Or is it just my vision has gone that much more overnight?
Before leaving for work Joel left me a card and the confirmation letter for my new lens and filter.  It should be here tomorrow!!!!
This morning I will be off celebrating my birthday...

it was mostly uneventful.  A day home doing some paperwork for the business and cleaning up around the house for the first half of the day.
Then the second half of the day we spent running some errands, dropping Zach off over a friends and Chelsea and I headed out to Trish's for the huge garage sale.  Chelsea thought she could find some cool things for her dorm, so off we went.
    We figured...

to my birthday and I hope I'm feeling a whole lot better by then?  My arms are still covered with poison ivy and its even gone so far as to my face now!  Yuck!
I got this pretty good feeling that Joel ordered my wide angle lens for my birthday, since he was asking lots of questions about it, although I have to admit he was quite shocked at the price?
We are supposed to go camping with a big group...

...that's what this weekend was about.  Joel wants to go camping July 4th weekend and I said we need the long weekend home to work in our yard.  Do I need to remind him we are having a graduation party in a few weeks?
So my compromise was to go camping this weekend in exchange for having the 4th home to work on whatever it is we need to finish.  Like the turn around which we have been talking...

That's what both Zach and I got from working in the yard last weekend.  I don't know how only he and I got it and not Joel, but needless to say we itch!  Zach unfortunately has it even worse than me.  We have been using the Benadryl Gel and while it helps, if anyone has any tried and true remedies I would love to hear more about them?

we spent the day out in Michigan again.  Heading out at 7am and returning home at midnight.  And what a fun day it was.
There were six of us from Ohio and we met up with Debbie and Brenda in Michigan.  We spent the day at Debbie's store and a bunch of other stores throughout Brighton.  Going to lunch and picking up bread at the Great Harvest Bread store on Main Street... yum!
    I picked up some...
