In an attempt to document my summer, I thought I would do a random summer recap, to capture those events that took place during the summer of 2012...
It has been another year of travel and entertainment, and its even more special when that travel is in your own city, and the entertainment is a concert. We knew the moment we heard they were coming to Cleveland that we wanted to see Train, and counted down the days for Chelsea to return from California and our night to attend this concert.
What a wonderful night we had at the Nautica Pavillion where we got to see Andy Grammer (Fine by me, Keep your head up) and Matt Kearney (Hey Mama, Ships in the night and Nothing left to lose). They were both amazing and really got the crowd ready for Train!
After getting a hotel and parking the car, we went to HardRock Cafe for dinner and drinks, which is one of our favorite places to get Pickled Tink, a drink we tried and loved before the Lady Gaga concert last year.
When it was time for Train to begin, they didn't disappoint... starting the concert with one of their recent songs, a favorite in our house, 50 ways to say Goodbye. Which had the entire audience, including us, up out of our seats and singing along! And it just kept going from there... every song, everyone stood, everyone sang! It was truly one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time!
Train... summer of 2012...
