Declutter your kitchen

February challenge to declutter

In keeping up with my intentions to declutter, here are some huge changes I made in my kitchen (February) that are lending to the transformation I was looking for. I knew that much of my kitchen was disorganized and over crowded, so as I began cleaning out excess I also began looking into what storage containers would work best.

I picked up a few of the OXO Softworks to begin the transformation and was quickly hooked at the ease and look as well as the storage possibilities.

I purchased the storage containers from  Target or Bed Bath and Beyond and while this could get costly, I highly recommend these containers. This change over cost over $500, but could be done in smaller doses on a budget.

The clear containers were a MUST for me, as I have tried others over the years that did not work. These clear bins from Target contain everything together. With collections of spices or teas in one bin its easy to grab whatever I am looking for.

half way through the month and I am nearing the finish for the kitchen. Will update again at the end of the month.
