We are one day from the half marathon and I'm both excited and nervous. Mostly my nerves are about getting to the start line in time and good weather and of course a good run! I want to take note of how I feel at that turn off, where the half marathon turns and the full marathon keeps going. Will I be thankful that I'm making the turn, or will I be feeling good and wishing I was going further. That will help me decide if I'm ready for a full marathon in 2011.
My cousin is a personal trainer in LA, he recommended I rest a few days before the race and eat plenty of carbs, so I've taken off both Thursday and Friday from my workout, Chels and I picked up some waffles for breakfast and we are planning a pasta dinner Friday night with Jill and her family!
I've been running and training since the last half marathon in May and my first goal is to finish and my second is to beat my time from that first half marathon. My official chip time was 2:26:25
