A weekend away

For this I am grateful...

How do you explain the importance of a weekend away?  My husband just gets it... he knows I look forward to this weekend every year, counting down as it approaches.  And it never fails to leave me renewed, inspired and oh so lucky to share it with a bunch of great women! Three days of laughter, stories and inspiration while I create what ever my heart desires!

This year we headed out by 1:30 to get our coffee (gotta have the coffee to start).  We drove in rain and sleet, tho we've driven in worse and we arrived at 3pm ready to play!

As you looked around the room and saw the sea of tables it was easy to spot ours, as luck would have it, or the seating Gods were with us.  We got the largest tables in the room, with an extra one to spare!  We quickly went to work unpacking...

The first night I began working on the stack of layouts that I had planned for weeks prior to the getaway.  I think Deb, Mary and I made it till midnight on the first night!
