This month I got the kit a little earlier than usual and had a long weekend to play when my husband and son went to Florida shark fishing for a few days.

Chelsea and I recently went to her concert and what a great time we had!  First our evening started at the Hard Rock Cafe where we decided to try a couple new drinks.  Mine....Pickled Tink was our favorite, as in favorite drink EVER!
So much so that when we finally got our table for dinner we decided to order a couple more!
At dinner and on our way back we ran in to some interesting characters!

I had really hoped with Easter being so late in the year we would have a beautiful spring day, but it seems all we've been getting for the month of April is rain! But that didn't dampen our day celebrating with family.

We changed things up a bit this year as we try to do every year and made the Easter games a little different. This year we did the egg hunt like we do the dice game at Christmas...

Sometimes we need to step back and remember the little things that bring us joy and happiness in our lives, and with the recent struggles I've been facing while dealing with an ill parent I decided I should draw my attention to some happiness in my life!

My sister and I signed up for a class at Archivers called Daily Junque as we counted down the days until the class we found out that not enough people had signed up.
Our options were:

My challenge started with preparing for the race. I was starting to feel winded and tired and couldn't run a few miles, let alone pick up my pace. Another running adventure!
This weekend Chelsea and I went to Columbus to run another race. This race was different to all the others we ran since it was a 10 mile race compared to the usual 5k or half marathon. The Columbus 10 miler, known as the Cbus 10 miler was awesome and challenging!
