Thanks for all the sweet comments...
I am so sore today!  Chelsea and I took a class this morning called Thighs, butts and guts and let me tell you.  My thighs, butt and gut are KILLING me!  Oh my!

    this is a tough one...
Marks 5 years since I quit smoking.  I remember the night before when I was tired of feeling like crap and I left Joel a note and said "I don't want to see these cigarettes or lighter when I wake up".  And he was sure they were gone when I woke up.  So glad I wrote that note because I think the next morning I would have gone right back into my routine of lighting up!  But...

So again I was reading Ali's blog... who doesn't??? And read her post about her word for 2008.  It got me to thinking what word can I use for 2008?  I read a lot of great words people posted like:  (Grow, Balance, Simplify, Attitude, Enjoy, Genuine, Peace, Live, Learn, Joyful, Perspective)
I was having a tough time picking just one.  I think we should always try to Grow in some way, sometimes...

    INDUSTRY RELATED QUESTIONS
    1. How did you get into scrapbooking? (or card making, paper crafting, etc.) My sister told me about her doing some Creative Memories scrapbooking and I was mildly interested.  Then I saw some of my cousins books and it made me realize I need to preserve my pictures of Ryan, and remember the days with Chelsea and Zach

OMG!  I can't believe these pictures I found in a little frame in my bedroom, from when Joel and I were dating in 1981.

Joel and I just cracked up when we found these. He always used to wear a hat and I haven't seen him without a beard since we lost Ryan.  I'm not quite sure what was going on with my hair?

Had a very productive day yesterday.  Got all the little trees down and put away and Joel and I got the big tree down and out to the burn pile.  I love decorating at Christmas but I also love the clean and simple of January and with the blanket of snow that has fallen overnight, even the outdoors looks fresh and clean. The house looks empty without the tree... and I like it!
    Along with my Project...

I had such a blast making this acrylic mini with the D.Reeves 3 X 5 that came with the project kit.  Once I began playing, it all just seemed to come together.

The front and back cover are the acrylic base I used adding the photos to the back and the stickers and jewels to the front.

I added the tabs with the stampin up tab punch and as I always do, inked the edges.
