It's Monday and back to our routine of summer after spending the weekend in Chicago.  Tomorrow I have jury duty, it is my first time going so I'm kind of excited about it.

Do you know a narcissist?  For years I didn't realize one was living in my family, but as with any catastrophe in life, once the dust settles you can look back and see all the signs that were right in front of your face.  
One day when explaining the situation to a friend she told me to look up the definition of the word, I swore my family member's picture should have been next to the list of traits...

It was so fun and so easy working with this kit!  The August kit has to be one of my favorites, although I know I've said that before, and I'll say it again...

Ah it seems to be winding down quickly... soon Chelsea will start back to school and shortly after  that Zach will be in school again too... so I thought my 13 should be of my favorite summertime things.

Well, I think I finally finished my travel mini and can add it to my basket of mini books.  I added journaling and stamping (right on some of the pics).

I left the house on Friday with the camper packed in anticipation of a fun weekend with family and friends.  I got that and a whole bunch more!

We have been counting down to this weekend since February!  It's hard to believe we started planning back then for a summer camp out, and here it is!  It's going to be about lots of family and lots of friends what could spoil it... oh  yeah, the forecast is calling for rain.......
