Sunday plans

We tried to go out to see Shawn race yesterday in Akron, but were unable to find parking in Akron!  Why they would close off streets and not have parking areas available is ridiculous!  Apparently they had several events going on at the same time.  Didn't anyone think of the parking situation?  So I ended up turning around and going home.  Shawn did good for his first time back racing in a year (22.8 in the 200) although he was disappointed in himself, since his best time ever was 22.3.   I wish we could have seen him.

Although I didn't go straight home...

I made a stop at Perfectly Charming since there was a parking spot just waiting for me right in front of the store.  I had to stop at Border's since my book light wasn't working again and then it was time to get home and get some cleaning and scrapping done.

My accomplishments included getting the kitchen and dinning room floors washed, half my thank-you's done and some time to play with my Work in Progress February kit, among other things and checking out a new restaurant in town, the Corkscrew Saloon with Joel (which was awesome!)  I'd call that a good day!
