Strawberry picking and more...

June 13, 2008

Yesterday we started the day early.  Deb and the kids met up with us here and we headed out to the strawberry patch where we picked 7 buckets of strawberries between us all.

Afterwards we headed over to Applebees for lunch and then we all went our separate ways.

After taking Chelsea home, Zach and I headed out for his dentist appointment.  After his cleaning of which everything checked out fine, we began the discussion of his braces which I prefer to start at the end of summer, but before the new school year starts.  So that's the plan.

The evening went by quickly without much accomplishment.  On the return trip from the dentist I made my way into Great Northern to check out the new cord and scored on some cool clearance items.  75% off - how can you pass it up?  Later I spent some time outside watering plants, letting the dog run around and putting up a flag in one of the beds.

Some exciting news I recently found out... my BLURB should be delivered today!  I can't believe it, and I can't wait.  I will be sure to post some pictures of it when it arrives via UPS.
