the sun decides to shine at the end of the day on Sunday...
I guess I shouldn't complain since the weather didn't spoil our weekend plans, it just would have been nicer had it been dry.
This weekend was the first Mount Union home game and what an experience it was! The stadium was packed, the field was covered with football players and everywhere you looked people were wearing Mount Union apparel! Now I really to get back into the school store and find me a sweatshirt or jacket! It seems they are quite the winning team! We found out first hand when the score was 35 to 0 at half time!
The game was postponed because there was no electric for 30 minutes. Unfortunately because of that 30 minute delay part of the half time show was during the start of a rain mist. Luckily for the fans, we are under a covered bleachers. The girls performance was wonderful in spite of the rain mist!
After half time we took off from Mount Union and headed to Hinckley for a party to celebrate Joel's aunt and uncles birthdays.... 150 years between the two of them and we always have so much fun with them all!
It was a fun weekend in spite of the weather!
