Dave and Busters

Last night we headed out to Dave and Buster's to do something with family celebrating Chelsea's 19th birthday and Shawn's 18th birthday. While we ended up having a fun night when we first arrived I didn't think the evening was going to go well. The first thing we did was put in our reservations for dinner. The girl said it would be a 3.5-4 hour wait! I'm like but it usually is less than that? No, she says, actually it may be longer than that.

We knew we were not going to wait that long for dinner, but we decided to put our name in and get the pager and let the kids play for a while. In the meantime we called around to other restaurants in the area to find a place to dine when we left.

After a couple hours of play and the pager not going off we decided to head off to Max and Erma's for dinner. My sister and her family headed over while we were still rounding up our family. Right when we get our family together the pager goes off. Well great, half our party has already left! So I called my sister and find out that before they left they asked how much longer it was going to be and they were told 1 1/2 - 2 hours, but within minutes of them leaving the pager went off?

We decided to continue in our plans to head over to Max and Erma's and I was really disappointed with Dave and Buster's for being so off on how long the wait was. But we ended up having a blast at Max and Erma's so I guess it all worked out in the end.
