Over the weekend I had a chance to get some scrapping done Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday I worked on quite a few cards and when Saturday came I needed a jump start to get going.
I pulled out some old issues of Creating Keepsakes and Scrapbooks Etc and between all the layouts and the sketches in the magazine, I really got on a roll! It was nice to just scrap some random pictures to just tell a story. Whether it was about my favorites for the year or recognizing the changes that have occurred over many years, I enjoyed the process of using pictures from the past and present.
And although I didn't finish journaling all the pages I did, I was happy with what I did accomplish. Which leaves more meaning to the quote I read today on Cheryl Mezzetti's blog
"Much of the stress that people feel does not come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they started."
Looks like I need to finish a few things to rid the stress in my life!
