I've been going back and fourth about reading the book A million little pieces. I started out reading it because of all the talk about what a great book it was. It started out slow, but just as I seemed to be getting into the book all the controversy started about the truth of the book.
Now it's not so much that I don't want to read it anymore, but I don't know if it would have been a best seller had it just been marketed as a Fiction book. Or, would I have picked up a fiction book about a drug addict trying to get clean? I don't know?
I wonder if I'd have felt betrayed had I already read the book and been moved by it like so many others. Because now it just seems as I read I wonder is this part true???
So for now, I'll continue reading in my spare time along with the book Encyclopedia of an ordinary life
