to my goal of 500 miles this year and I'm loving it!
It's funny to think that just months ago I hated the treadmill! I think I somewhat feared it... not sure what I feared? But there was a genuine fear.
But Chelsea kept pushing... just try mom, just walk mom, and slowly I began walking and then a slow jog until suddenly I hit my first mile and you'd of thought I won a jackpot! I was so excited that I actually jogged an entire mile. To date my longest run has been 11 miles and I plan on getting to that 13.1 before the marathon date!
Now here I am training for a half marathon and the stronger I get and the closer it gets, the more excited I get! I can't wait to do this with Chelsea and for myself!
Right now my two favorite things are my ipod and Nike sports running kit and my Nike shoes! They both motivate me to run and add to that mileage total!
