A little getaway...

Ah we finally took a much needed break from our daily routing and went away for the weekend to Cook Forest in PA. We made some great memories while living in a 2 bedroom cabin with 4 adults and 5 kids. Plus 3 more kids from a neighboring cabin.

Some of my favorite moments are when Lisa exlaimed "This would be so much easier if someone had a Salvation Army Knife"!!! Sorry Lisa, but I don't think your ever going to live that one down. I've heard of Swiss Army Knives but not the Salvation Army?

Then of course when her some Jamey came running into the cabin to tell her he had a splinter, she asked him how he got a wood splinter. Well I couldn't resist that one either. "Hello Lisa, did you remember we are in a LOG Cabin surrounded by acres of WOODS!

Ahh, like I said, it sure is nice to get away, and to get a few laughs too!
