What brought you joy - Week 6

"There is sunshine in my soul today."

It was a perfect Monday with the abundant sun warming the air as Chelsea and I left the hospital where we watched the baby tumble about during her ultrasound. The friendly technician enamored us with each detail of the tiny person on the screen while I stood in awe of it all.

"There are her hands, and her knees and look at her chin," she exclaimed, I stood expectantly with a smile as I witnessed this miracle of life inside my own child delivering a joy I could not extinguish.

As the beat goes on and the countdown continues in this magical journey, I will savor each opportunity before us and welcome all the JOY this blessing will bring.
