Weekend Crop

March 9, 2008

Was very snowy, cold and productive!

It was a perfect weekend to be snowed in and scrapbooking.  The drive in Friday afternoon was a little messy, but we were there and ready to scrapbook by 4pm.

We went through 3 different hotel rooms during our stay.  The first one we didn't even stay in as we were unloading our luggage we heard this loud buzzer sound which was our heater.  No way we'd be able to sleep with that buzzer going off.  It sounded like you were on a game show and got the question wrong!

Second room was fine except the next day when we tried to get back in we couldn't.  They had to go through a window to unlock the door so we could get our things and move to another room.

Finally... the 3rd time IS the charm!  We have an inside room that is warm without noises and you can open the door!

Throughout the day on Saturday we were updated with the horrible conditions going on through conversations from home and just looking out our own back door.

we knew we wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon!

By today when we were ready to come home the sun was shinning and the roads were wet... amazing what a difference a day makes!

When I got home before I even unpacked my things I seen my wallpaper border had arrived and I had to get it up!

I don't think I learned my lesson after struggling with getting that last border down.  But I'm very happy with the results!
