The weekend...

I was so saddened to hear about Tim Russert yesterday.  I have always enjoyed him on TV and even read his book "Big Russ and me"   His love of life, family and politics you couldn't help but to be drawn to.  Just a genuine good person... so sad

As for my weekend, not too much planned, except today is the wedding of a friend of mine.  We went to her shower a few weeks back.  I hope this rain quits and her day is beautiful like we've been having (minus the heat of course?)

On my way to work yesterday I decided to stop and get myself a seasonal drink that I haven't started getting yet this summer... thanks to my sister, I didn't even know these things were this good?  So I have to control myself, otherwise I'd probably get one everyday of the week!

Still working on our yard, though I haven't ordered more mulch yet I think if we get anything done it will be removing more trees and trimming this weekend.  I added this flag to the front bed the other night.  I have to keep an eye on it, because one year after a storm Joel had to fish it out of our neighbors lake? 

Last night we watched Saturday Night Live the best of Jimmy Fallen and it was hilarious!  I don't think I've ever seen all the skits he's done.  One of my favorites is his Barry Gibb with Justin Timberlake being Robin Gibb... too funny!

I'm hoping to work on my birthday album and some more of my kits over the weekend too.  Since my table that was once clear for a class is now covered in every area with MY stuff???

And yes, I went to check delivery on the UPS tracking of my blurb and I have never seen it rescheduled before.  To say I was disappointed is an understatement!  But now I will wait for Monday and watch for that brown truck. 

(which reminds me of a funny story... when Zach was little and saw the UPS man pull in the driveway he said "Mom the FBI is here".  You can imagine my shock and then laughter when I figured out what he meant and found the UPS guy at the door to deliver a package!
