The tree is down

January 2, 2008

Had a very productive day yesterday.  Got all the little trees down and put away and Joel and I got the big tree down and out to the burn pile.  I love decorating at Christmas but I also love the clean and simple of January and with the blanket of snow that has fallen overnight, even the outdoors looks fresh and clean. The house looks empty without the tree... and I like it!

Along with my Project 365, I also have a scrapping goal to get something scrap related done every day.  Yesterday I began this goal by finishing up a project I started at the crop with Trish and the girls.  It's an album about being a mom.  I've completed the frame of the album, now I need to decide what pictures I'm going to use.  This will be in my Completed in 2008 album

Last night Cameron slept over, so he and Zach stayed up to the wee hours playing Guitar Hero.  The two of them can get laughing so hard it will make you laugh!  Chel and I watched the season premier of The Biggest Loser as I worked on my mini book.  Looks like its going to be another fun season.

Have you seen the awesome work Trish has done with the Work in Progress January kit!  I love her Noteworthy mini book, and you know I'm a fan of all things mini!
