In loving memory

December 9, 2009

The poem that I wrote several years ago for Ryan that finally made it in the paper.

Ryan_xmas_92
The joy you brought this family

each day that you were here

has given us such memories

we'll always hold so dear.

Your shy and quiet manners

your bright and happy smile

drew everyone who knew you

to love your special style.

Your love you gave completely

you'd share all that you had

to see someone else happy

would always make you glad.

And now we're left to go on

without you in our lives

we lost the future dreams we had

since you were only five.

They say that life must go on

but they never lost a son

the life we go on living

will always be less one.

We'll cry from being lonely

we'll cry from being sad

we'll cry in anger asking why

we lost the son we had.

Love,

Mom, Dad, Chelsea and Zach
