falling behind

on vacation recap! How does that happen? 

Anyhow, Tuesday and Wednesday we spent in Fort Myers visiting my brother in law who just moved to Florida last September.

We got our hotel right on the beach, something I've always wanted to do!

 and our first night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant which had a deck on the beach!

 strawberry daiquiris on the beach before dinner!  Yum!

Chelsea and I did a early morning run/walk on the beach, another thing I've always wanted to do, plus my workouts had been few and far between so far on vacation!

 we did some shopping afterwards and headed out to the pier where we saw this

I love the relationship that Joel shares with his brother, that we all do for that matter.
  
It was great to hang out at the beach for a couple of days, although it was extremely hot, not sure how residents of Florida do this warm weather every day?  The only saving grace was the breeze on the beach!
