Christmas count down

Zach and I were shopping at Catans the other day.  I needed spray for my ornaments.  While shopping he told me he wanted to do the count down again to Christmas and wouldn't it be cool to have Dove candy in each box.  So since we were in Catans already we started looking for boxes. 

After we picked up all the boxes we walked over to Starbucks for a hot chocolate and peppermint mocha.  While there I seen the most adorable countdown tree and for $9.99 I thought that wasn't bad, but since we had already purchased the boxes to make the countdown like Ali did, so I didn't think to buy the one at Starbucks.

Today we were by Starbucks again and I seen the countdown trees again and decided to get it and take the boxes back since the days are "counting down" till I have to have it done.

Then I read a thread on Two Peas and people were altering the Starbucks ones.  So I'm glad I made the switch!

Here is my before and after:  This was really quick and easy to do!

Then I decided to keep playing and finishing up projects.  Did pretty good too!
