Card club and more

Yesterday was a fun Monday.  Starting my day the usual way heading into work, but only stayed for a few hours and I was off to meet my sister and Kim at Thyme Restaurant for lunch. It was a great meal and great conversation. 

After lunch I headed back to work for a couple more hours until it was time to pick up Zach from school and head over to the grocery store to pick up the usual things we run out of so quickly.

Yesterday afternoon I heard some sad news at Two Peas... Scraptales that we just went to last Wednesday is closing!  I couldn't believe it, it was one of our favorite stores and now another one is going?  So sad

The evening was spent going to card club, one of our last.  We only have one more meeting in May and then decide if we are signing up again.  Right now we're thinking of just taking some classes but not signing up for that year long commitment.  We'll see how things go since we always do have fun. 

We made a 3d card, a sweet fruity card and the adorable purse for Mother's Day which we punched slots on the inside to hold a gift card.

I also have to start getting prepared for our crop on Saturday for National Scrapbook Day!  Deb and I can't wait to get together with Trish and the girls!
