Love having busy Sundays that I get a lot done and today was one of them. To begin the day we went to breakfast which may not seem like a big deal - but for us its been a long time since we didn't have somewhere else that we had to be - although Chel was working so it wasn't a "family" breakfast.
Then we went to Sam's club - a trip we've needed to take for a long time. Joel drove out his van and I drove my car so we could get enough supplies for the shop. Since we had two cars and Archiver's was right across the street, I HAD to stop there on the way home...
After we got home we cleaned up the rest of the yard. Picking up all the flower pots, umbrellas and other summertime items and putting them away for the winter.
Finally, time for me to play. First I had to clean up the house since it was in much need of my attention (and I had just gotten the rest of my Longaberger basket order)
I was thinking about some of my gifts for Christmas and what I was going to put them in when it occured to me that I have a bunch of hat boxes that Brenda gave me when she closed the store. I decided to see what I could do with them and here are the results.
Then I worked on the books I'm making for Joel's family which are almost done!
I also worked on the star ornaments I want to make for Ryan's ornament this year. I just have to figure out what I want to wrap around or hang from them yet?
And finallly - after seeing the button tree on Ali Edwards blog and on Two Peas. I decided to give one a try. I picked up some buttons while at Archiver's today and already had the pins and base.
So that was my busy Sunday! I think its time now to sit around and enjoy the rest of the evening.
