Labor Day weekend

We had a great time camping this past weekend.  

Spending time with family is what great memories are made from!

We camped nearby home, which worked out perfectly for Cameron to come after work, Deb and Gordon were able to hang out and enjoy dinner with us and Chelsea and I were able to leave, do some shopping and get back to the campsite in a short amount of time.

The kids did some swimming, though Chelsea and Ben tricked Zach into thinking the water was so warm, he should just jump right in...

these two had me cracking up all weekend.  

We tried smores with hershey bars, snicker bars, kit kat bars and peanut butter cups, and we all agreed that the peanut butter cups are the BEST!!

and I caught this bee flying by...

It's always so nice for us to get away, and Joel spends the entire weekend spoiling us all by cooking up a storm.  From eggs and bacon, pancakes and sausage to corn on the cob and potatoes cooked in the fire and burgers and chicken, he just wants to know that you had enough to eat!

And I use some of the downtime to get caught up on some reading...
